I woke Jordan up bright and early this morning to go to a Christmas event held by our realtor. You bring a toy and get a free tree. My first time with a real tree...at least since I can remember. I was looking forward to doing away with the fake, mini tree with its broken stand and constant need of propping. Plus, we have plenty of room now for a tree! Although the process was nothing to speak of...(some year we'll go to a tree farm) it was a lot of fun to setup and watch Panda play with the branches and Cookie nibble on the needles. Oh yah, and there's my favorite coffee drink of all time, a white chocolate mocha with hazelnut.

Then I got kind of obsessed with taking macro shots of the tree.

Trying to get pictures of the dogs by the tree Cookie got overly excited by the prospect of treats...and produced these two amazing drool bubbles.

Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday! This tree smells divine! It was a relaxing afternoon of setting up the tree, watching the dogs be goofballs as usual, blasting the xmas tunes to Jordan's horror and eating a delicious lunch of homemade corn chowder (by my fabulous cook of a husband, obviously). Oh and this is a picture of my shirt;)
