My first in a regular series of "Life with the Smushies!" I was counting down the hours Friday until I could go pick up my 24 prime rental. AHHH. I'm in love. I took a few shots outside Friday night with the dogs and then followed them around with that beauty all day Saturday. This a glimpse into my life with the smushies through the eyes of the 24. I have to have this lens. So I'll be saving like a mad-woman! It is just so perfect for shooting 'real life.'

Our days go a little something like this, one of the dogs wakes me up, I can feel them stirring...I lie perfectly still in hopes that they will go back to sleep. Usually they don't. They start creeping slowly towards me and crawl all over me. This morning I actually got them to lie still before hopping down to go outside.

Then begins breakfast, Cookie scarfs her food in under a minute and then circles Candy hoping for a scrap. Then Cookie tries to play with Candy, a LOT.

The mornings are primarily me and the dogs until Jordan wakes up. I let them give him a little visit on this morning. The dogs have a way of getting people up;)

Then of course Cookie rolled in a pile of stink and needed a bath. Candy just chills most of the day and dinner resumes the feeding ritual and stalking by Cookie.

Stay tuned for more posts like this and of course I'd love to photograph a typical day in your life;)
