Jordan wrote me a children's book about Cookie! It's hysterical, although perhaps Cookie wasn't as engrossed as I was. Scroll to the bottom to read the story for yourself!

Clearly I need to polish up on my reading skills. I appear to have bore her immensely.

The End.

p.1 This morning I lay snoring so loudly beneath the covers. Snoring and Snoring and Snoring. I thought this night would never be over!

p.2 Until I awoke with a fright! Mama! Mama! Wake up! It's no longer night!

p.3 Cookie! Ok! Ok! It's time for you all to play outside! Oh my! Oh my! Oh my! The joy of the snow would never subside!

p.4 I romped and I romped and I romped... Until finally I saw it! A Great Big. PILE OF TREATS!

p.4 I gobbled and gobbled and my jowls flew like the wind. Just then, I could hear mama's voice and I started to cringe.

p.5 She hauled me back inside and I feared a terrible wrath! Instead of yelling or anything like that...She drew me a nice warm bath!

p.6 She scrubbed and she scrubbed until she cleaned my little Frenchie mouth out. To finish it all off, she gave me a little kiss right on my snout!

THE END!

A few days ago I received a darling gift from a friend, "Fanny the French Bulldog" children's story. I was delighted to add to my collection of boston/frenchie/pug children's book. It also made me realize I should write a book about Cookie! I told Jordan about it and suggested we each write our own versions. He laughed and we tossed around title ideas.

Then this morning for Valentine's Day he presented me with his version, "Treats for Cookie Monster." He said he even made it PG so we can read it to the baby. You see after reading this story if you haven't deducted Cookie has recently taken up the most disgusting of hobbies. Hunting down Candy's fresh "treats." We are still looking for ways to stop this disgusting habit, but for now we must approach it in the only way we know how – with the ultimate sense of humor.

I laughed hysterically at every page my husband so adorably crafted. I tried reading it to Cookie but she seemed less than interested. For now I've added it to the new bookshelves in the nursery Jordan hung for me after a crazy trip to MOA and Ikea yesterday (not to self, never attempt again on Valentine's Day weekend:).

Thanks to my wonderful husband for taking photos of story hour with the smushies.
